RENTALS

Rentals launch from the Saugerties Beach on the Esopus Creek.  This part of the creek is a beautiful, calm, and super safe that runs along the Esopus Bend Preserve.  It isn't subject to tides, high winds and heavy boat traffic making it a perfect place to try Stand Up Paddle Boarding or to venture out in a Kayak on your own.  AWESOME FOR FAMILIES!!   It goes about 2 miles down until it gets shallow and you turn around.  There are sand bars in a few places where you can get out and swim.

Sat. and Sun 9:30 am - boats back by 5:00 pm

61 South PARTITION STREET - Next to the SAUGERTIES BEACH
  Weekdays by appointment!
I'm running here and there throughout the day, so
Just call and I'll meet you with equipment anytime!

Each of the following tours are wonderful.  Many times the weather conditions, wind, tide and current will make one tour a better choice than another for that day.  When we speak we'll discuss this and just know that your safety is always the first consideration.

Sunset Paddle

Enjoy dinner at one of the scrumptious restaurants in the Village, then come down to the waterfront and enjoy a stunning Hudson Valley sunset! We'll paddle down to take a quick peek at the Cantine Falls before heading out past the Saugerties Lighthouse and into the Hudson River! We'll enjoy the sun as it sets behind the Catskill Mountains as we paddle back. All of the birds seem to sing so sweetly to get in one last song for the day.

Launches from 2 Ferry Street  or Tina Chorvas Park, 75 East Bridge St. in Saugerties
Allow 1 1/2 - 2 hours
$45.00

Esopus Paddle -

This paddle is about as relaxing as it comes. We'll start with a quick lesson in Kayaking Basics to get everyone comfortable and ready for a fun day. We'll paddle up the flat, calm waters of the Esopus Creek along the Esopus Bend Nature preserve and a little further up the beautiful steep bluffs that overlook the lazy creek will provide cool shade. A stop at the Preserve on the way back for a snack and perhaps a short walk on one of the trails before returning to the Saugerties Beach where you can enjoy a picnic or a swim. This is perfect for young families with kids.

Launches from the Saugerties Beach 63 South Partition Street in Saugerties.
Allow 2 - 2 1/2 hours
$50.00
Snack provided.

Fun Paddle -

We'll start with a lesson in Kayaking Basics before we paddle down to see the stunning Cantine Falls. See where one of the oldest paper mills used to be and now Diamond Mills resides. We'll head out to the historic Saugerties Lighthouse where we'll see one of the oldest operating lighthouses on the Hudson River.   We'll paddle into Lighthouse Bay where the Hudson River looks like a lake and find a spot to have a quick snack.  We'll enjoy the sunshine and the water before heading back.

Launches from 2 Ferry Street or Tina Chorvas Park, 75 East Bridge St. in Saugerties.
Allow 2 - 2 1/2 hours
$55.00
Snack provided

Falling Waters Paddle -

We'll start with a lesson in Kayaking Basics and then head straight out towards the Saugerties Lighthouse and then south on the Hudson River until we reach the North entrance to Falling Waters Preserve where we'll take a nice break, see the beautiful waterfall.  This is a bit further and requires a little more fitness, but well worth the effort.

Launches from 2 Ferry Street in Saugerties or Tina Chorvas Park, 75 East Bridge St.
Allow 2 1/2 to 3 hours
$60.00
Snack Provided
